Can you tell? :O) I get the Family Fun magazine and there are SO many cute craft ideas that I'm having a hard time waiting until February to start on them!
I found some great fun websites for cute hair ideas and have been having Madi pick how she wants her hair done for the day - that way she knows what I'm doing and can't complain too, too much. LOL ANYhoo, she saw this one and was SO excited to try it for pre-school today. I'm not talented enough to do hair AND take pics {especially since my sister dropped our small camera and broke the shutter so it's pretty much useless. Darn, time for a new one I guess! Ha ha}, so I didn't take any step-by-step pics. BUT, you can click
here to see the instructions on the Princess Hairstyles blog {aren't I so nice?}. FYI, I used a plastic yarn needle which I HIGHLY recommend over using a metal one like she did. Just saying... And I also have to say that no, Madi's ears aren't really crooked like they look in the pic. She had her head at an angle and was posing for the couch while I took the pics, so you can't really see that it's actually a side ponytail. You probably didn't even notice, but I did! :O)
Stick around for some fun V-day crafts coming up in the next few weeks!!
And P.S. I know some of you have our blog name as your link to us, so just letting you know that I changed it from "A Family of Friends" to "Confessions of... well... me!". Hopefully you won't get too confused when a "new" blog shows up on your friends list! :O)
