Holy crap ~ Keahi is 5 months old today!  I cannot believe she has been a part of our family for THAT long already.  And yet, {as is true with all babies} I find it hard to remember what life was like before she joined us.  What a blessing she has been in our lives, especially for Madison.  Being a big sister has changed her in so many good ways, it's been amazing to watch these two bond!

So anyway, here are some stats on Keahi at 5 months old:

2 teeth, with a 3rd on the way {I think, she has a pretty good sized lump on one side on the bottom, but it's her incisor...  Silly tooth is skipping what, 6 other teeth?!}

AAAAAAALLLLLmost sleeping through the night

Starting baby food and loves it all!

Drinks 6 1/2 oz of formula

Can roll from front to back {but has been since 5 weeks old} and back to front a couple times

Wants to crawl so dang bad but still is in the backwards-shuffle stage {so frustrating for the poor girl!}

Can sit all by herself for about 30 sec to a minute {still the belly-sit for the most part}

Wears size 6-9 and some 12 month bottoms

Wears 12-18 month tops

Wears size 2 shoes

Makes the piggy face {heavy breathing included!}

Weighs about 19 pounds

Has found her feet, but can't quiiiiiiiite get them in her mouth

Still takes three 2+ hour naps a day

Still has a massive bald spot but her real hair is coming in and will cover it up better once she's sitting independently {how we await that day!!}  :0)

By the quality {and quantity!} of her singing, we have decided she is practicing for a career in yodeling

There is so much about this kid, I could seriously go on forever, but my hands are freezing because we have the comp in the coldest room in the house, so I'll stop there!  Love to all and hope you are getting ready for the holidays!!!
