That I am slowly playing catch-up here! Instead of posting one HUGE post with a million stories and a picture overload, I'm trying it a few posts, a few days apart. We shall see if I get to everything I want to blog about. Especially seeing that I have 4 photo shoots scheduled so far for next month {trust me, that's a good amount}, getting braces on Monday {joy} and will be on pain killers for the next few months... Yeeeeah, we'll see if I remember to post about our random craziness! :O)
Can I just say that I love living in the country? I grew up in a small town, and am happily settling down in a small town. I love looking out my window and seeing a huge mountain, smelling the clean air, seeing millions of clear stars at night, and drinking my tap water {city water is SO gross!!}. There are pros and cons to small town living, I know that - like everyone knowing everything about everyone... can be good and bad. But one of the greatest things about where we live is the access to so many fun activities that don't cost a dime. We live minutes from a river, 30 minutes from a mountain, 10-20 minutes from the greatest Mexican restaurants and have a Pizza Hut. {If only we had a good pasta place, that would be HEAVENLY!!} And one thing that I am SO excited for is all the 4-wheeling we're going to do this summer. Last fall we bought Clint's parent's Rancher, and there are tons of fun places to explore on a 4-wheeler.
A few weeks ago, we loaded up the kids, some food, chain saws and the 4-wheelers and headed for wood. It was such a fun day and the girls LOVED going for rides. Seth showed up with Logan and Chloe and between Jonnet and I we had a blast riding around with the kids. Seth's kids thought I was pretty amazing at one point because a gust of wind blew Chloe's hat off and I snatched it out of the air while still driving and stuck in right back on her head. I must admit I was a little impressed myself. :O)
Anyway, some of you may think the pictures are the perfect display of country bumpkin living, but to me they are collages of some of the best moments a mom can have and a life I am loving living.
