Today was Madison's first official day of Pre-School!
She has been SO excited for it ever since we had our first meeting organizing it 2 weeks ago. It's really simple, just 3 of my friends and I taking turns, twice a week for 2 hours per day. Kachelle and I made a calendar that will rotate from house to house.
Isn't it sooo stinkin' cute?! I LOVE my cricut!! The next ones are the different seasons...
These next ones are the weather {we also have windy and cloudy, but they weren't finished when I took these}
These are the holidays...
We're hoping that if each day starts the same way {prayer, pledge, calendar, name cards} and with the same things, even at different houses, the girls will quickly recognize Pre-School and get "in the zone".
We'll each take a turn teaching one letter and one number. When we've run out, we'll move on to sight words and shapes {we know they KNOW all their shapes, but sometimes it's harder to actually draw them than recognize them}.
Here they are! These big Pre-Schoolers! Brakelle, Bentlee, Brittlee and Madison {what's with all the B's?!} It's really nice because we all know each other already, the girls are already friends, and we're all on the same page as far as how and what to teach them. It's going to be a nice transition into Kindergarten next year.
Oh, she is such a dork! I pull the camera out and out of nowhere she pulls out her Vogue poses. LOVE IT!
Madi was pretty set on wearing such a fancy skirt and a side ponytail. This kid just makes me happy, and I'm excited to watch her learn and make the slow transition into her school years, but I'm sad too. My sweet baby is getting so BIG! It's awesome to look in her backpack and see schoolwork - worksheets, crafts... I just hope I can be as good a teacher as Michele was today!!

She is quite the poser! The calendar turned out awesome - good job! And you'll do just as good teaching. You'll see how easy it is. I need copies of those pictures! :)
What a fun idea! You ladies will be so good at that. You're all so creative and patient :)
Wow Tiffany, you are getting SO good with your photography! Madi is so funny with all her little poses, someone DEFINITELY is not camera shy! :) What a good idea for you guy's to do the preschool, Ayden just started and I must say that I am loving my 2 1/2 hours of quiet every morning (at least for another month anyways). I worked in a preschool and kindergarten for a few years and noticed a HUGE difference with kid's that had gone to preschool. It was just so much easier of a transition for them into kindergarten. This will make life so much easier for them (and you) next year!
