*BUT*
I've also had the fire lit - the realization that it's never too late to jump back on the blogging bandwagon {even if everyone else is off it and devoted to Facebook - don't get me wrong, I'm a Facebooker too but there is something more intimate about this blog that FB can't touch. FB is almost... superficial to me somehow. You can't REALLY be a part of who we are through FB. Maybe that's a good thing!}. I'm excited to see the things my kids do and write up the post in my mind as it's happening like I used to - instead of trying to just nab the punchline to go with the {single} pic on FB. And with school getting going for BOTH my girls {sob!!} I will have the time needed to keep this going. Silver lining to the dreaded start of the school year.
What a better way to start all my {hopeful} blogging off than with a slew of pictures of the two most beautiful twirly girlies in the universe?!? School started ::TODAY:: and I'm a little bit in freak out mode. Madi is supposed to be in school, she's going into 3rd grade! But MAELEE?? She's my itty-bitty! When did she turn 5 and think she needs to, like, grow up and stuff? I swear, the nerve of these kids sometimes... Haha... Not sure if I'm joking there or not... I'll get back to you on that.
-K- a quick disclaimer here: I haven't edited these pictures. Figure it's better to get them posted than to wait until I can edit them, right? And another disclaimer: the pic of Maelee sticking her booty at the camera is her shakin' it for you :0) Because evidently you needed to see that...?
Oh these two make me so happy! Madi ALWAYS tries to bunny-ear people in pictures and I usually catch her but when she did it to... herself? Yeah, I let that one slide. LOL And her hair?!? Friggin' cuteness eh? I found this super cool website cutegirlshairstyles.com that has me SO excited for new hair do's for miss Madi {and Maelee when hers grows out a little more. IF she will stop pulling all her braids and hair ties out! Grrrr! Stinker girly!}. Both girls have great teachers this year and lots of friends in their classes. I'm hoping it will be a fab fun year for them :0)
As for Marcus and I? Don't worry, we won't be bored! We get to go feed, burp and snuggle 2 adorable twin boys at Jonnet's house for a couple hours while the girls are in school. I get paid for loving on sweetness, what?!? Yep. Hard-knock life over here. I admit it. ;0) And that, I believe, concludes our broadcast day. :0)

Super cute girls and pictures! I'm really glad you're blogging! Keep it up! I am trying to blog more, too, even though it's not as popular anymore. I like recording what we're up to, because guaranteed, in 2 years, I won't remember so much of it if I don't record it somewhere.
