Poor girl started complaining a few months ago that her front teeth were hurting, and when we checked they weren't loose at ALL. Well, about a month ago she told us that a new tooth was growing in her mouth. We of course figured it was her 6 year molars starting to come in... much to our surprise... it wasn't!!
Fun right?!? We tried to wiggle that baby tooth out but it was pretty happy where it was :O( -SO- We took a trek to the dentist this morning and had ourselves a little adventure of sorts!
They were originally planning on only removing the one baby tooth, but since the other adult tooth is about to cut through and neither baby tooth was very wiggly, they went ahead and pulled out both.
Maelee did AWESOME!! She was cheerful and sat still {well, for the most part. She is only 5!!} and she never felt a thing. I on the other hand, was jittery, nauseated, and having flashbacks to her surgery 2 years ago LOL We stopped at Basha's on the way home and they were having a sale that made Maelee {and my purse} pretty happy - 3 HUGE boxes of popcicles for $10 ;O)
You guessed it, the fudge bars were my pick :O)
So now we are chillin', watching Halloween movies, eating popcicles and snuggling. Thankfully she hasn't felt too much pain and is focused entirely on getting to FINALLY have a visit from the Tooth Fairy tonight! Happy ending to a crazy adventure eh?!?
