Labor Day Weekend and Visit with Kiki

You would think that since we got internet at our house that I would be better at updating my blog... yeah, not so much!  I instead spend all my time looking at cameras, etc. and dreaming about the day I can cross over to that totally frightening world of being a photographer.  (Yes, I am admitting that I'm terrified, but a good terrified, you know?)  :0)  SO EXCITING!  Anyhoo, on to the update.
Labor Day weekend was fun, as camping on the mountain always is.  We got rained on, hailed on and even saw some snow on the way up!  Such a nice break to be cold for once!
There's just something magic about that old mountain air - it makes Madi's naps disappear and Keahi sleep through the night!  Go figure.
Jennifer and Reggie had their horses at the corrals, just a stone's throw away from where we were camping.  Madison thought they were just the coolest things ever and was SO stoked when she got to ride one with Daddy.  :0)
More wildlife this trip!  No bears this time though, just a doe.
Briggs - he is SO dang cute!
You can't really telll, but she's trying to kiss me back!
Saturday the 12th, we went through the Temple with Riley and Kiki's family watched the girls.  Madi had a blast!!!
We left our camera in the backpack with the girls' stuff and they took some great pictures for us.
As you can see, it was definately a jolly ole' time!  :0)  Thanks again guys, the girls had fun!

She is so CUTE! I can't believe how big she is getting! It sounds like you guys have so much fun camping... It always sounds fun to me, but it never ends up that way!

I need to get those pics of Briggs that you took! (Not that I'll do anything with them, but just in case I ever want to!) Those pics of Keahi are way cute! She's so sweet. That was a good trip up the mountain, I'd like to go again before winter sets in, but I doubt that will happen. Oh, and are you sure that Keahi was kissing you back?!:) Looks like she may have been just tasting you!

It was great to see you on the Mountain. Kira had a blast playing with Madi. I don't think I told you-When we took Madi back to the cabin with us, Reggie showed up with the horse and took Madi for a ride by herself while he just led the horse around the cabin. Well on there way back the horse shook and Madi held on for dear life. She looked like she was in shock and then started to cry when a got her down (I was holding Briggs) she just loved on Briggs and talked to him and was totally fine after that. The little green dress is so cute on Keahi and she looks so grown up in that last pic.
