My poor husband was sharing a nice breakfast with Madi this morning when out of nowhere this mean old devil incarnate scorpion decided to sting his buns, twice! Sorry Clint, but I have to chuckle when I picture the mass chaos and confusion when he realized he couldn't get to the scorpion without sitting down to first unlace his workboots, all the while dancing from the pain and fear of another attack. That's really mean that I laugh, and I really do feel SO bad for him (it just makes for one of those owie/comical moments that you really only see in Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller movies)! I've only been stung once (well, 3 times but all at the same time) and believe me, being stung on the buns does NOT make for a fun few days. Anyway, it's a tragic story but where is my proof that God also hates scorpions? Luke 10:19 reads,"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions..."! Where else in the scriptures does Heavenly Father give us permission to kill ANY of his creations?! NOWHERE. So, the only logical conclusion we can reach based on the given evidence is that God, also, hates scorpions and has therefore not only allowed but given us power to squish them. Now, you may be wondering what happened to that devil bug that so unwisely made his mark on my husband; we listened to a loving Father's advice and did indeed tread on that scorpion!

so was it in his pants or was he sitting outside and he got him through his pants? That's no fun, but at least he's dead.
Oh man, that is the one thing I DO NOT miss about thatcher! The little house we lived in was infested! We probably killed about 100 scorpions in the year that we lived there. I'm glad it's dead! That thing was huge!
Oh my gosh! 2 days ago while I was making breakfast I found a scorpion in my kitchen! It was a big one too! Luckily no one got stung, but I made Brian miss half of his class before I would let him leave me alone in my scary house. The worse part is we got home last night and found a little tiny baby one in our bathtub. I'm thinking babies! Ahhh! Scorpions are so scary!
Oh yuck! That thing was huge! Poor Clint, I would call in sick if that happened to me! I hate scorpions!!
Wow! EVERYONE is having problems with scorpions! That is SO not fun. Poor Clint. Those things freak me out even more than spiders...and that's saying somethin'!

that is too funny (and sad of course). send clint our condolences. i have lived in AZ my whole life and i hadn't seen a live scorpion until we were in pima in august. they are gross but it's pretty awesome that they glow under a black light
Oh Jordan! She's got to be Ty's wife!!!:) POOR CLINT - but that is so stickin' funny that he had to take off his boots, ha, ha, ha! I do hope it didn't hurt him too bad though.
