I got to go help with Art Time in Madi's class on Friday and I tell you what, those kids are too stinkin' cute! I was in charge of painting their hands blue {complete with sound effects as the paint went on}, and then pressing their blue hands onto a paper with a poem on it {they all liked it when I "squish, squish, squish"ed their fingers down to the paper}.
I was pretty impressed at how well behaved most of the kids were, and how sweet too. They all thought I was pretty funny and I got LOTS of hugs that afternoon!
Madison was the last one to do the craft with me, and as you can see... the water didn't REALLY do a lot to get her clean!! LOL
Madi has made a new friend at school, Carly. I always hear all these stories about Carly this and Carly that, so I was excited to finally have the chance to meet her. Cutie-petuties, eh?
As I was leaving, Madi hugged me so hard and asked in such a sad voice why I had to go - made me so thankful that she's not "too cool" to love her Mom in public. She genuinely wanted me to stay and watch her play with her friends, instead of being like "see ya, Mom! I'm playing now!" It's a small thing, but to this Momma it meant the world.

Soooo cute! I love Madi's dimpled smile! Hope things are going good. Any news on the adoption front?
So fun! I love when I can help out in the classroom, it's fun to really see what goes on there :) Madi sure is cute, and has some stylin clothes! hehe!
